Black Lives Matter

Black lives matter.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ”

Galatians 6:2

We as BAE Collective stand in solidarity with our black brothers and sisters in Christ. We join with you in love, in prayer, in unity. We take up the cross that our brothers and sisters have bore too long - one weighed heavy by the burden of pain, injustice, and suffering- and will take it up daily so we see the day that the protests are celebrated as parades.

We take up our call to look to God and ask Him to search our hearts. We welcome Him to search us to point out any apathy, prejudice, and racism and replace it with love. We challenge ourselves to pray and speak to our family, friends and communities on these things and how we can do better.

We see where we are now, and cling to we see the vision of where God is calling our nation to be. We pray and work together to end to police brutality, systemic racism, and the individual hearts that have been hardened by it all. We see the vision of God’s love and peace and hope for one another and will continue to fight this good fight hand in hand.

With love,

BAE
