Dear You - To The Wondering Soul

I am a sucker for romance. And one of the most romantic things in my eyes is when couples write letters to each other (right up there with giving someone the last bite of their food and creating a mixtape/playlist). It’s intimate. True. Genuine. Unmatched.

Which is why when someone said “the bible is God’s love letter to us” MY HEART. FLUTTERED. It unlocked a new way for me to read the bible and see how God spoke through His Word, propelling this new desire to know Him as my first love.

This mini series - “Dear You” - gives honor to the season God and I fell in love. It captures the truths He gave to me over who He is, our relationship, my identity and purpose.

Today, I offer them to you as a gift for your season, praying you and God also fall in love in a new way.

Dear You -

If you are wondering if you’re enough, you are.

If you are wondering if you are loved, you are.

If you are wondering if anyone out there hears you, understands you, cares for you, I do.

So please know that in your wondering, I am here.

I have heard the tears of your heart and the questions in your spirit, which seem weary from sifting in the voices around you and in your head which may ask a circling question - “who am I really?”

Take this letter as a tangible signal to pause.

And rest.

I am here with you, and I have called you by name Listen to the One who knows you better than every being who walks this Earth.

I love you.

It is my prayer that in your wondering, you will understand that this is the exact place that God wants to meet you and reassure in your every question.

With love,

Jo
