Let Him In

Hey BAE’s!

Did you know that April is considered “Stress Awareness Month?” So, relax your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and take a deep breath. Take a moment to pray over your circumstances and thank God for today.

What Does God Say About Stress?

The Lord will give you rest (Matt. 11:28) and peace (John 14:27). I think it’s important to note that stress is not always a bad thing, but whether or not it’s in our control, God’s got us. This doesn’t mean to not work and assume things will fall into place, it requires faith. Faith that things will work out the way they’re meant to be. It requires believing that He’s greater than our worries and sins.

In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says to come to Him, those who are tired and are carrying heaviness in their hearts, and He will give us rest. He doesn’t want us to carry things on our own, He WANTS to help. Not because He needs to, but because He loves us too much to see us struggle. We just need to take the step of thinking beyond ourselves and then allow Him into our circumstances.

This message may seem repetitive, but again, I want to remind you all (if it’s your first time reading our blogs or you have been with us from the start), that you are never alone in troubling times.

A Gift Just For You!

When we allow God into our circumstances and for Him to work through and within us, the heaviness we feel becomes lighter. There are two things I believe the world can never truly give us, and that’s peace and joy.

Yes, we experience moments and people who bring us these feelings, but they’re God-given. They’re times that remind us of God’s goodness in our lives. They’re the gifts He gives us everyday that we see in both the little and big moments.

Being stressed doesn’t mean we don’t have God. Stress is honestly inevitable, but it’s easier to manage with Him in our lives. I encourage you to take a step back and reflect on what’s stressing you out, and to take a moment to let God in.

You got this!

Praying for and Loving you always,

Angeli <3
