Make It Right
I want to start off by saying, healing isn’t linear. There will be times when you think you’re okay, but the next second you’re crying. And that’s perfectly fine. Please know that it’s okay to not be okay (btw, that’s a great k-drama, I highly recommend). Let yourself feel and take your time. Healing isn’t a process you can rush.
No Problem Too Small
To sum up many of my testimonies, I’ve been hurt plenty of times. There was even a point where the trial made my heart grow cold. I left little room for others, for myself, and especially for the Lord.
“He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names.”
What you have gone through is significant. Don’t ignore what this experience is teaching you. Even if you think it’s a small issue or that it would be bothersome to others, it matters. In the verse above, it states that the Lord will be with you, to heal you, and that even in such a low point, you are seen by Him.
Go to Him, in fact, RUN to Him. Our Father is waiting for you with open arms. He will listen to your cries and provide you with the answers you may have never would’ve thought about. He’ll make everything right.
Vulnerability...das scary
Though I have always been pretty expressive, I recently found myself holding back. I HATE feeling like a burden to others. So, I will tend to isolate myself. The thing about this is, I’ll eventually just burst into tears because I’ve kept it in.
**insert one of my favorite kpop song verses** “It’s better to be held than holding on,” whether you need to be held literally or you just need someone to confide in.
I encourage you all to not only pray about your worries to the Lord, but to also find at least one person that you trust. This person should keep you accountable, help you feel heard, and can advise you with a vertical mindset. That last one is super important!!!
You are meant to do life with others and God has people in store for your life that’ll help you through it.
