Sprinkles of Encouragement - Let Yourself Feel

Hey BAE’s!!

If you don’t know me too well, you may ask, “why is she always crying?” That’s a good question, and the easiest way I can answer that is, “I’m sensitive.”

Growing up, being called sensitive seemed to be used as an insult, and I hated it. As I got older, I started to realize how unhealthy it was for me to hold in so much pent-up frustration and sadness.

I would cry for hours over all the things I experienced for months. Though there’s nothing wrong with that, why couldn’t I just let myself feel in the moment rather than allowing it to build up?

My encouragement of the day is: Cry!

It’s okay to cry even over the silliest of things. Crying for a minute is a lot less draining than letting everything out at once.

God gave us the ability to feel and empathize. There’s nothing bad about allowing yourself to feel.

Praying for and Loving you always,

Angeli <3
