Make Your Space!

Hey BAE’s! How’s your room looking? Is it a space that you enjoy being in? Feel safe? A place to worship?

3 Ways to Make Your Room More Intentional

  1. Choose a Color Palette

I don’t think it’s necessary for everyone to stick to neutrals when it comes to decorating a room, but to stick to a color palette. Though, I do recommend sticking to neutral furniture colors like white, black, and light wood tones.

What colors bring you joy and peace? For me, those would be my favorite colors: sage green, light pink, and slate blue. In order to feel less cluttered, these colors are accented throughout my room, through wall art and smaller decorative items.

  2. Declutter and Organize

We’re not all called to the minimalist way of life, but no matter how many things you have, there is always a place for them. Get rid of the things that no longer serve you or bring you joy.

You may want to keep a few things out of sentiment, but take some time to reflect on the things you really need and want to keep. Keep a memory box or drawer for these special things!

I would definitely recommend checking out Daiso, IKEA, and/or Target for cute organizational items!

  3. Show What You Love!

To make your space somewhere you enjoy being in, display things you love! This could be artwork from your favorite artists, pictures of your loved ones, and verses or quotes that motivate you!

Have fun with it! Place them in different areas of your room where you can see them all the time. You might even thank your past self on the days you may not be feeling great because just seeing/reading those things can be a reminder of how good God is in your life.

Let your space be your own, no matter how small! Allow it to be a place of not just physical, but spiritual rest.

Praying for and Loving you always,

Angeli <3
