A “God moment”, is the moment you look at and realize that your God is your God. That He is your Savior, the one who has satisfied your heart’s every desire, but has brought you a place of overflow. It is the moment you find yourself in Him, you find your identity, and with Him you pursue your calling.

It wasn’t until recently that I had my God moment. Where I knew that my God was my God.

Everyone struggles with insecurity: “I need to lose weight”, “I’m not pretty enough” or “I’m not good enough” run through many of our minds. Everyone goes through it, so I should just brush it off, it’s no big deal, right? WRONG.

That’s what the devil wants you to believe. He makes you think that this “common” problem is reality. He makes you believe that “it’s okay to feel bad about yourself, it’s just who you are”.

When we think ‘God Moment’ we most likely think about a specific point in time where God became real to us, a moment when all of a sudden we realize that our God was our God. My God moment though, spans an entire year.

My “God moment” happened just last year.

I grew up as a Navy brat. This meant that my family moved every few years and I would be forced to have a “fresh start.” I never had trouble making friends, but it was difficult for me to keep them.
