Better Together
Even when you are out with your friends who have yet to know God, something to keep in mind is that you could possibly be the only representation of God’s love they know/meet.
Let’s Start Fresh
However you choose to refresh, do so with the intention to be transformed in some way. Sometimes all we need is a short pause to breathe and remember the goodness of God (hehe my fave country song, iykyk).
On the Faithfulness of God
But, dear one, cling onto God. Cling onto Him, turn to Him. Cry out to Him, rest easy in His presence. This feeling of brokenness and heaviness is a valid feeling, but feelings are always changing. Cling to the One who is staying constant, who is faithful. When it’s hard, cling to Him even more because He will take you through.
Not Perfect, Just Growing
Yes, we have ideas and have thought of how to execute these goals. Something we tend to say is that we want to “fail fast.” This isn’t assuming that we do fail completely, but that we’re ready to learn from failure if it were to happen because God would always be there to lead us into the right path, a better path.
You’re Busy… Doing What???
I’d like to remind you all that it’s absolutely okay to take a break from time to time. When the world becomes too much, spend some time with the Lord. He is our comfort and our rest. During the times where you feel unmotivated, go back to Him and set your intentions for the goals you want to achieve.
LOVE U BETTER: 2 Questions To Change How Love Others Better
Yes, people are frustrating. It’s true, we are imperfect beings because of sin, struggling with certain spirits - pride, envy, jealousy, etc - which are often difficult to look past. However, these struggles don’t define the identity God has placed in us, but rather, the spiritual battles we each face manifesting itself in the physical.
I Am Who He Says I Am: “Self-Love”
The Lord sees you as His masterpiece. The Creator of the all things beautiful, made YOU! You were created in the image of Christ! When you begin to know and believe that you are who He says you are, no one can take that away from you.
Love, Misunderstood: What Jesus Taught Me on the Truth of Love
I thought loving was easy. Naively convincing myself love is defined by Ri Jeong Hyeok to Se-ri in Crash landing on you. My childhood argument was supported by evidence on Disney movies and all the songs which had love in it.
But as my relationship with God grew, I realized love wasn’t any of these things. It wasn’t even a question of “what is love?” God showed me the real question was “who is love?”
God is love (1 John 4: 7-12). And when He sent His son Jesus down on earth, how He lived tore down two misconceptions of what love was and replaced it with who He is.
Trusting the Process
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 is a beautiful reminder that there is a season or time for everything. These verses have given me the reassurance to trust in God’s plan for me and that despite going through tough times, it is happening for a reason, His reason.
God’s Plan
I have no clue what exactly God’s plan is for my life. What I know for sure is that it’s better than anything I can imagine. It’ll be for the good of His people and according to His purpose for me. This year alone He has taught me so much and my world seems to have flipped upside down, in the best way possible.
